5th graders helped to make a huge sign to place in the windows of the art room (the windows are in the front of the school).
I think they did a fantastic job on the sign. I may leave it up for a while, you can see it from the street!!!
I've been wanting to try to make these burger cupcakes for a while now. I ended up making about 50 cupcakes for the show, they were gone within the first 5 minutes. As parents and students entered the building they were displayed on a table. Most initial reactions were along the lines of "what are those things, can I eat them?".
A yellow cupcake cut in half for the bun with a chocolate chocolate-chip cookie for the burger and 3 colors of icing for toppings.
And of course the art!!! Almost 250 student artworks were displayed during out annual arts night (1 piece for every student in the school).
Live music way played by students throughout the night.
A special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Valentino for their unbelievably generous help leading up to and during the show. It would not have been possible without the Valentino family!!!
Also, thank you to all the families that attended, it was truly a special night!!!
